Discussions about itgroove, sponsors, employees or management will be deleted immediately and repeated postings will result in banishment from this forum.
 

This forum is run by and completely monitored by dedicated volunteers. As a visitor of the site, we don't ask you to pay to use the boards, and we reserve the right to try and make it enjoyable for the majority of it's visitors.
 

You have a constitutional right to stand on a public sidewalk and express your free speech. However, such rights, especially those that involve attacking other people and ruining the fun for other members, and telling us where to get off, do not exist on a board and server that the owner pays for. You are guests in our house.
 

These rules are subject to change at any time after registration, and you agree to them nevertheless, with or without notice. Check back often.
 

Personal attacks of any sort will not be tolerated. There is a difference between disagreeing with what one says and attacking the person. Differences of opinions are welcome, while attacks are not. Understand the distinction.
 

The site staff has the exclusive right and discretion to delete any posts they deem to be in contravention to these rules and guidelines, and subsequently ban repeat offenders, if necessary.

a) Trolling is not welcome. If you're intent is to troll (definition: A post intended to incite a verbal fight, or to belittle or damage a person’s / organization's reputation; or one who makes such posts, is a troll), then you will be banned.

b) We encourage discussion on players and teams, but endlessly bashing, insulting, or belittling is not only tiresome, but it is not welcome. Civil discussions about abilities of a team or player are encouraged, but again, intent of endless bashing is not. Criticism must be constructive.
 

Vulgarity/profanity has no place in the victoriasportsauthority.com forum. We'd ask that you even refrain from using symbols instead of swearing. Just don't use or insinuate it, and your posts won't be deleted. We have fans of different ages and faiths visit here, and we ask that you respect that.
 

You will not use the board to advertise any product or site. Anyone caught posting unsolicited advertising on the board, private messages, or victoriasportsauthority.com e-mail forms will be banned and reported to their Internet service provider and/or site host. You may provide one discreet link to your site in your signature as long as it's clear you are genuinely interested in contributing to the conversation.
 

Racism and sexism will be deleted immediately and the offender will be banned.  Period.
 

Your message must add something of substance to the discussion. Please avoid silly or incoherent messages (or one liners) just because you are bored, or for any other reason.
 

Try to keep your posts in the proper forum. Although we allow some leeway.
 

Avoid posting topics that have already been discussed. Please use the search feature to determine whether a topic has already started.
 

You will limit your avatar size to 100x100 pixels and will not have a signature image or any other graphic wider than 300 pixels or taller than 160 pixels (for those unfamiliar with pixels, they are roughly half a millimetre in size). Images wider than 300 pixels will stretch the screen out to the side too far on many monitors.
 

Posting fake news headlines is not allowed. They will be edited or removed and the poster will be banned for a one week period. If at the end of the ban the user is caught doing it again the ban will be increased.
 

Let the moderators do the moderating. If you see a post which concerns you, feel free to send a PM (Private Message) or email to our admin or moderators.
 

You may use your own name as your screen name, or invent one. The only requirements are that the name hasn't been taken yet, and the name doesn't misrepresent you as someone else. The latter rule will be waived if the name is so silly that no reasonable person would take it seriously.
 

Creating multiple accounts to back up your own opinion will not be tolerated.  One account per person.  Violators will be banned immediately for a minimum of one week.
 

Respect others. Argue ideas, team performance, etc., but keep the insults to yourself.
 

Have fun. The people we have here are great with many differing opinions so enjoy.  Remember that other board members and the Moderators are people, too.
