Folks,

This isn't a Salmon Kings board.  So, you are entitled to say what you want (so long as it falls within forum guidelines).

However, we at the VSA wish to support the Salmon Kings (and thus the arena, to a certain extent).

Recently, there has been a heavy amount of bashing of the Arena's operator and naming of individuals within the Salmon Kings organization that posters take issue with.  I (we) ask that you please try and refrain in the future from posting names and/or making our lives (and our relationship with sports teams in town) difficult.

This is a Sports Discussion Forum specifically.  Not a Sports Team Management/Ownership Discussion forum.  Lets keep our focus on supporting local teams, spreading the word about well established and new and exciting sports.

Just asking for a little tact please.  Posting slanderous, mean spirited or otherwise innapropriate or irrelevant things only hurt us here at the VSA.  We lost one forum already (the Salmon Kings forum), I do not wish to be put in a position where we have to make a decision about another.

The reason we created VSA was to support sports, at every level - both amateur and professional.

We have no intention of over-moderating this board, we have let almost everything go, and will continue to do so.  But remember, this is a primarily a SPORTS board (apart from our silly threads   )... so lets support ALL sports (except archery, I hate those wankers  )

So say what you want but try to be politically correct as the pendulum has swung WAY to far and there are sensitive people out there.

As for the topic at hand....I feel that Victoira was robbed when they built the SOFA as it lacks any character and is a horrible building to see any event....bear Mtn. is better.

What makes it the truth. Because YOU said so?  I love the SOFMC.  Big concerts, clean facility, its a huge improvment over the old memorial.  Clearly, there are two views on the facility and both have been spoken.

That said, this argument is so old and boring.  Nothing to see here. Locked.
