part of being a development legue

That doesn't make it suck less. One should worry that having a very strong start to our season could be our downfall if it means all of the top performers are going to be called up one by one, leaving us to patch holes as best we can only to end up mediocre in the long-run.

Way to go Gajic!

I always thought he'd make the leap up. Here's a chance for someone else to step up.

This is his third shot at the AHL so he better make it count and maybe he can stick for awhile. More than likely he will play a few games like last year and he will be back either under contract or until they don't have a spot for him anymore. I see that they sent a another forward back to Texas today so maybe they are trying to find a player outside of thier affiliate. I don't think that we should panic yet this sort of thing happens all the time players go back and forth every day. Anyway good luck to him I hope that he does well  and I'm sure we will see him back at some point.

I can't see Milan staying in the A.

He appears to be nursing a knee injury that could be still lingering from last year. And it looks like he kind of floats around the other teams defence in order to limit the stress on his knee. Looking for the breakout pass. No doubt a team idea and concept to use him for his hands and limited skating ability. I doubt they'll accomodate him like that in the A.

But you never know how much Houston needs his abilities, limited or not.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I wish Milan the best reguardless and hope it works out for him. He'll be missed if he stays for sure.

I have noticed that he does a lot of charging in over the right wing straight into defenders and getting his pocket picked handily. Now and again he gets through, but he's also been knocked clean on his ass a few times as well. He needs to think about his zone entry a bit more, I think. Great hands thought and fun to watch.

I too wish him the best but his lack of speed and size for the most part will show next level. He can make a nice pass and receives them even better but he has his head down too much, plays too long a shift and is not that responsible defensively, stuff he can get away with at the "E" level. That all said, if he scores the points in the "A" than his slight weakness will be accepted. Good luck Milan but hurry back if you want ice time.

houston called him up cause he is leading the ECHL in points. houston needs a player who can set players up and score goals.  yes he may be slower then the average player, but if puts numbers up he will stay up, and move up.

The reason Gajic was not signed by the Moose is because they have too many players that are ahead of Gajic on there depth chart. If he makes Houston, good on him, much better pay days, but the AHL is his max. Roll Eyes

Milan is wearing no. 39 for Houston. Houston is leading in the second 2-0 with no stats for Milan. Huh

I like how the AHL helps pad the stats etc.
Look at the Houston Aeros roster page on the AHL site. http://stats.theahl.com/stats/roster.php?team_id=329&season_id=12
It has Gagic listed as playing for the Manitoba Moose last season?
I know he played a few games there so a creative way of listing last team played for

I suspect that Kelly will be returned.  Hoping we would see Fitzgerald but I think he is playing a regular shift with the Moose.
