Great game last night, well here's what we were all worried about Milan Gajic got called up to Houston of the AHL last night. Good Luck Milan we will miss you.

He will do well on a team whose point leader is a D man. A name familar in our area Aaron Voros is the leading forward for the Aeros with 8 points.

Good luck to Gajic, but I think at the AHL hes not a good enough skater, but he sure deserves a shoot at it

I'm unsure as to how this works ... if Houston decides to send Gajic back down to the E, then does he come back to Victoria? Or does he go to Houston's ECHL team?

he comes back to us as we own his ECHL rights.

I bet Ward had a lot to say in calling up Milan. Don't agree I feel He will stick as if you check their Stats they really need players who can rack up the points. Once again way to go Milan. Can not wait for you first game against the moose.

He won't be leading scorer for long...Voros is up in The Show with the Wild and seems to be making an impression...goal against the Canucks and a fight early in last night's rematch

Great for Milan!!! I'm really stoked for him but it is sad for us. Would love to keep his point-getting touch around and see him keep the league lead all season long. But we'll only attract more attention in the years to come if we can prove that people will move up from within our system or from outside of it.
Hopefully our boys can fill the gap and keep the wins coming!

Yup. Good for them, not for us. Someone like Ellis is in a tough spot because other AHL teams with goaltending woes might be interested but since he's signed by Vancouver he can't join them. However, there's always trades to take care of that problem (which would super suck for us!).
