my understanding regarding dale was maxi brought him in to help and show players what it took to make the nhl.  as a mentor(like gusser said "Purinton is there to steady a young squad", he did that really well(hopefully he does a better job of showing the hartford guys what not to do to get back to nhl). He was selfish. never came to rink during the many suspensions. did not even talk to maxi(as said when they suspended him),good team guy

i wish him luck, but he burned some bridges by the way he acted while here.

Port Huron of the UHL.  in 4 games he has 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points.  Also has 7 PIM.  looks like the UHL is the league for him.

SEAN O'CONNOR has been spotted in Victotria !!

When playing a few games with Milwakee Admirals of the AHL earlier in the year, Sean reinjured his left shoulder.

He has just had major invasive rebuild surgery on that shoulder, and is currently strapped into a ridgid shoulder/ arm support .After the healing process is completed Sean will head back to his AHL club.

We all wish him a Speedy recovery!

update  Mike Wirill has been traded by Utah to the Pensa Cola Ice Pirates. Too bad we won't see him play this year unless both Victoria and Pensa Cola meet in the Kelly Cup Final.

huxley had black eye in warm up on thursday.  ya think with that fight the only way hornby hit huxley was his head to huxleys fist.

I give it to hornby, he will go with anyone and is a great punching bag

Ohh boy, lets start the correction post!  Tongue

Basenji, it's actually Pensacola (Florida) Ice PILOTS.

Stefano, Huxley actually suffered that black eye in Stockton's last series, but Hornby did land a few sweet uppercuts to make sure nothing was fading away...

And finally, I have some more updates.

KC Timmons is playing in England, I believe with Manchester.
Nate Forster is in Italy, playing in the Swiss league - apparently he didn't like the fact that talking to the other team on the ice was frowned upon...oh Nate!  laugh
