I'll take all of this into consideration.  At the moment, I just want to start with the housecleaning. It costs nothing and its gotta happen.

Idea to create donations...   have a forum exclusively for "elite" members... to join it cost X amount of dollars a year have seen other forums whihc do this

Interesting.  But with only about 10 people on here lately, you could all just buy me a beer instead Smiley

We want more people on here and the problem is, I believe all this negativity has chased a LOT of people away.... perhaps when we grow and fix these 'problems' fully, we could look into that.  Thanks for the suggestion MVP.

Personally I think that controversy draws people rather then chases them away, but that is more of a sad statement on humanity then it is any sort of business logic.

I'd agree to a certain extent.  The problem is (and the statistics seem to support it) that despite having 115 or so members (The old Kings board I think had about 800), there are only about 10 posting.  I want more interaction, more people posting and right now.  While I appreciate all 10 regulars, there is no point in doing this online, we might as well meet at the pub.  Smiley

Don't underestimate the lurkers.  Unless each of the 10 of us hits 500 topics each per day, then there are a lot of casual fans, to hit 5000 hits per day.

A BIG thanks to Fanatic and the Mods. As I've only met fanatic he's the only one I can buy a beer Grin
This redirecting the focus of the forum is long overdue. Although I'm addicted to logging on and reading the latest comments, some of the topics get so twisted its down right depressing. I know the teams performance generates alot of negativity but when it gets personal we have stepped over the line.
Keep up the effort. We appreciate it.

If people are going to start buying Mods beers I'm going to have put SalmonKings Win on the back of my jersey.
Maybe I'll wear that on Friday.  Grin
Now on a serious note police the poiceman has spoken.   coupleb1tch eusa_wall
Really I think from what I've read now, we all need to get our friend (note singular) and have them sign up and get them to actually talk on line, then we would have 200 members. Now if 50% of those 200 have a 2nd friend we could get this board up to 300 members in no time. So get to it everyone. Grin thumbsup01

Thanks fanatic for your hard work i'm sure it takes alot of time to keep on top of everything on this site. Sometimes all the complaining that goes on here gets me down too but people can always find fault if they look for it. I have also met quite a few people on this forum and one thing is the same with all of them  they all care about the team, I guess they get uptight when the team isn't winning. Anyway keep up the good work everybody respects the work that you do.

Thank goodness we have our web site, well ok Fanatic's web site. All I can say as
a Salmon King fan I would have to totally depend on other media, which is either inconvenient
or absent.
I think I have seen many changes at the arena and with the team. And although I think
I've said it before, I think those positive changes have been a result of some serious discussion
on this and the other site.

And if it wasn't for this site. I probably would be so bored and disappointed with the team that
I wouldn't be renewing my season tix. But, with all the input from folks like you and the info you
find on the net, the site is "the best" . And it's a credit to Fanatic and VHF's work on making the web site
and the bar/headquarters a really excellent addition to the salmon kings hockey "club" to keep the season
fun and interesting. The Kings get excellent value on their affiliation with you guys and so do your
 repective companies.

As for the rest of you.... what SKW says Grin

Fanatic, I am with you.  Good decision to work toward cleaning the site up a bit.  I agree that your company name and Sopranos are both on the line so we need to respect that.

You guys do great work and keep it up.
